QUETTA: Militants have reportedly blew up a gas pipeline with explosives, cutting an acute gas supply to an independent power producer company near western bypass of Saradarkaz area in Quetta, Geo News reported on early Thursday.Police said, unknown militants planted explosives on a gas pipeline passing through western bypass during Wednesday and Thursday night, which went off at 3am.Sui Gas authorities said they had closed gas supply to IPP Company after blast occurred however, they also maintained, “We will repair gas pipeline tomorrow after seeking security clearance hereafter gas supply will soon be resumed.”
