With his chief ministerial ambitions dashed to the ground with the installation of Ashok Gehlot on the coveted post in Rajasthan, Union Mines Minister Sis Ram Ola seems to be finding it hard to focus on more mundane matters these days. The other day the octogenarian leader from Rajasthan was noticed in the office of Corporate Affairs Minister Prem Chand Gupta, located on the fourth floor of Shastri Bhawan in the Capital. Ola, in red slippers, looked confused and unaware of his surroundings. He would look at the minister’s name-plate, then the door, and then the corridor. Finally, he decided to enter the minister’s chamber. Within a minute a visibly surprised Gupta, with folded hands, was seen ushering the Mines Minister out. The explanation was simple: Ola had confused Gupta’s office for own, located three floors down.
